The Big Events
Full Moon in Leo // February 1, 2026
The full moon this month occurs at 13°03’ Leo. As always, the full moon represents strong, bright energy, culmination, and release. In Leo, the moon is even more associated with the spotlight, as it’s in the Sun’s sign. A Leo moon wants to be seen and wants to shine the light on others as well. This moon highlights leaders and celebrities and pulls attention toward matters of confidence, authority, and authenticity.
The ruler of Leo, the Sun, is in Aquarius, the sign of its detriment. Aquarius is stacked right now, containing not just the sun, but also Mercury, Venus, Mars, and Pluto as well. Aquarius energy is strong at the moment, with a focus on gaining perspective, prioritizing the people (as opposed to the Leaders) and trying to find long term solutions that work for everyone. Aquarius can be cold and distant, but its distance provides an eagle eyed view to the masses. The Full Moon in Leo highlights some tension here. The moon gives light to the King, the Leader, the status quo. There’s a tug of war going on here, with more players on the Aquarius side and the Moon acting solo on the side of the leader. Whatever Leo represents in your chart will shine bright, but may be in a losing battle to whatever’s happening in Aquarius for you. Whether it’s a last ditch effort to maintain visibility or an extra spotlight on your leadership abilities, you may find some tension between your own star power and the needs of the collective.
Saturn Moves into Aries // February 13, 2026
Saturn first entered Aries last year, on May 25 and retrograded back into Pisces on September 1st. But this month, it’s heading to Aries again where it will stay until April 2028. This year, Saturn will transit up to 14° Aries, so any planets or angles that you have between 0° and 14° of Cardinal Signs (Aries, Cancer, Libra, Capricorn) will be due for a reality check.
Saturn is cold and dry. It prioritizes long term thinking and planning, moral and structural integrity, and good boundaries. Saturn is minimal, sparse, and consequential. It has affinity with old age and decay. And it wants to make sure things are real, solid, and long-lasting.
Saturn in Aries almost feels like a contradiction, and indeed, Aries is the sign of Saturn’s fall, meaning that Saturn isn’t necessarily welcome here. Unlike Saturn, the sign of Aries is hot and fast. Aries wants things now, acts before thinking, and doesn’t give a second thought to consequences.
Saturn in Aries might have to loosen up a bit. We may be quicker to throw caution to the wind and take risks. At the same time, Saturn may be able to bring some stability to a part of your life that otherwise might feel impulsive and difficult to control. It’s an opportunity to find a sweet spot between passion, desire, and impulsiveness and long term stability or reality building.
Solar eclipse in aquarius // february 17, 2026
February’s Solar Eclipse is our first eclipse of the year and it’s starting us out with a bang in the new sign of Aquarius. Eclipses always happen across a sign axis and for the last year or so they’ve been happening in Pisces and Virgo. Those will continue this year but we’re starting to get our new axis of Aquarius and Leo starting this month.
Before we get into the specifics, let’s talk about the signs of Aquarius and Leo. Leo is ruled by the sun, representing the king, the kingdom, and the status quo. Aquarius is all that is outside of that. Pluto is currently in Aquarius, a transit that will last 20 years as Pluto moves slowly, deliberately, meticulously through the sign, upending power structures that no longer work. Aquarius is the sign of the people, but specifically the people who don’t feel seen by the mainstream. They’re the marginalized and the outcast. Distance from the status quo means perspective on the status quo. Aquarius represents the people who can see with enough perspective to know where the cracks are in the current system, and how to fix them. Leo and Aquarius are fixed signs, so their effects are long lasting. Leo is fire; it’s concerned with action, with life. Aquarius is air; it’s concerned with the social collective and thought. These eclipses will likely bring beginnings and endings in whatever is the status quo, especially having to do with leaders (Leo) and the people they lead (Aquarius). We will bounce between the way things have always been and the way we want things to always be.
This eclipse in particular is a solar eclipse, or a new moon eclipse, meaning that something is likely beginning here, but it’s at the final degrees of Aquarius, so the beginning will likely be the end of something, or we may have to contend with the ends of things before we get to move on to the beginning. It shares a sign with Mars and Pluto, two planets that have connotations with power, military, and force. Secrets, power structures, and aggression are possible (let’s be real, probable) themes here. It makes a square to Uranus, indicating something rebellious, freedom-seeking, chaotic, and unexpected. Unfortunately, neither Venus nor Jupiter, the two benefic planets, see this eclipse, so whatever this eclipse indicates in our world, it is likely to be extreme rather than tempered.
The ruler of the eclipse is Saturn in it’s new home of Aries. More themes of military, war, and aggression. However, it’s in a conjunction with Neptune. Something is failing. Saturn, the planet of boundaries and borders, authority and structure, is sitting with the planet of fantasy and dissolving. Structures may crumble, or reality may be hard to see. It’s hard to say how this will take shape. I fear that military occupation will strengthen, but I hope that it is the resistance that ultimately wins in strength. I hope that Neptune will dissolve the structures of Saturn that are no longer working for us. We shall see.
Saturn conjunct Neptune // February 20, 2026
Saturn conjoins Neptune in Aries on February 20, just a few days after the eclipse. The planet of structure meeting the planet of no structure. Last time Saturn conjoined Neptune it was in Capricorn in 1989 and the Berlin Wall fell. I don’t want to make too many predictions about what this could mean, but of course we can imagine that government or military structures will dissolve to some degree. Personally, this could feel like some old structure or way of doing or thinking about things is dissolving inside of you. What you think is solid will be tested. Where you’re rigid you may let up a bit.
Mercury Retrograde // February 26, 2026
Mercury goes retrograde on February 26 at 22° Pisces. It will retrograde back to 8° Pisces, where it was on February 11, so consider anything from February 11 onward up for reconfiguration or re-doing.
Mercury retrogrades are always times of review. We always hear about communication or transportation mishaps - these are things that mercury is responsible for. When planets are retrograde, they’re closer to the earth, so we can feel them more potently. Sometimes these mishaps are to draw our attention.
Mercury in Pisces is in its detriment and fall. It’s not where mercury does its best work, but it is where mercury can let go of some of its rigidity and get poetic and creative. This will be a time that it may be better to tap into your artsy side rather than your mathematic one. If you’re writing drunk and editing sober, now is the writing drunk part. Before doing anything too important, make sure to double check the details. And otherwise, pull out your journal or your vision board and get to dreaming. And don’t be surprised if you have to revisit some things.

Aries
This is a big month for you! In January, Neptune went into Aries and now Saturn is joining. This is fundamentally about YOU: your character, your identity, your body, your personal experience. Neptune will add a dreamy quality, more interest in art, poetry, mysticism, spirituality, and this will be a theme for the next 12 years. But Saturn adds a very different quality for the next two years. More structure, more inhibition, perhaps some rigidity. Both Saturn and Neptune can have an influence on energy levels, causing more tiredness and fatigue, so make sure to get plenty of rest, drink plenty of water, and take care of yourself. When Neptune and Saturn make their conjunction, you may notice something inside of you melting. Structures about your personality or life story may begin to crumble or dissolve. Saturn rules your 10th house of career and your 11th house of friendship and community, so you may also notice some big structural changes in these areas. There may be extra emphasis on those 11th house friendship topics with the eclipse taking place there as well. Get ready for a shift in your friend group, your audience, or your community at large. What you thought was solid may not be so, and you may soon find yourself in new spaces with new people.
Taurus
With the full moon in Leo happening in your 4th house of home and family and the eclipse happening in your 10th house of career, you may be noticing some big shifts and themes relating to your home, your family, and your work. At the beginning of the month, you may need to spend some extra love and care on your home or with your parents, and later in the month you may get a surprise in your career. The next 18 months may bring some big shifts in these areas, both beginnings and endings. Because Saturn rules your 10th house of career and it’s making a conjunction with Neptune this month, there may be something dissolving in your career path. You may need to find new structures if old ones turn out not to be as solid as you once thought. With Mercury going retrograde in your 11th house of friends and community, you might find yourself re-evaluating who you’re spending time with and who is in your greater community. You’re sensitive to the people around you and you may need to re-evaluate whether or not your relationships feel supportive or whether or not you’re being supportive to them!
Gemini
Things are about to majorly shift for you in the area of your friends and community. Friendship may feel more inhibiting to you now, or more draining. If friendships have stopped supporting you, it may be time to let them go. It’s okay to feel the grief and move on. You may begin to feel yourself become more empathetic or more energetically connected to your friends than you have been before, and this can feel intense, so take your time, go slow, and know that you can always create boundaries if you need to.
With Mercury going retrograde in your 10th house of career, there may be some reviewing you need to do there. Do you like your work? Does it feel meaningful to you? Can you dream even bigger? Make sure to double check any work or home contracts you might be signing during Mercury retrograde.
With the eclipses beginning in your 9th house of foreign places, higher education, and religion, there may be a part of you that is learning to believe differently than you ever have before. Your world view may be shifting and changing, through outer means (traveling, going back to school, etc) or just inwardly. Pay attention to your own belief systems and approach with curiosity.
Cancer
Big changes are coming for you in your career with Neptune and now Saturn in your 10th house. You may find that your entire life purpose seems to dissolve or become inhibited in some way. Perhaps you want to restructure how you do business, how you work, or who you work for. With Saturn ruling your 7th house, you may find that something about your partnership, perhaps romantic, but perhaps a business partnership, isn’t as strong as it seems. You’ll have the opportunity now to see if it’s strong enough to hold or if it’s ready to crumble and give way to something new.
With the Solar Eclipse happening in your 8th house of shared resources, taxes, debts, inheritance, and death, you may find that your financial experience is about to change. Over the next 18 months there could be some major beginnings and endings about how you make money, how you spend money, or how you share resources.
Leo
The full moon this month is happening in YOUR sign of identity, character, body, and health. Your personal experience is being highlighted here. The Aquarius eclipse begins an 18 month theme of major beginnings and major endings in the areas of your identity/body and your partnerships. You may find that your focus on partnership becomes stronger, that you meet someone new or that your current relationships go through major changes.
Saturn will conjoin Neptune in your 9th house of foreign travel, higher education, and religion, indicating that your belief system may be up for a reconstruct. Strongly held beliefs could find themselves unraveling as you begin to see something bigger and more true. With Saturn ruling your 7th house of partnership and 6th house of illness and work routine, you may find that your relationships or something having to do with illness or work go through some kind of dissolving as well. Whatever has been strong, rigid, or overly structured may be ready to let go to make way for something new.
Virgo
Saturn and Neptune are finally out of your 7th house now, and the fantasies and inhibitions that may have been plaguing you over the last few years are likely to dissipate. If relationships have felt hard or impossible, that could change. Mercury retrograde in your 7th house of partnership may have you revisiting things having to do with partnerships or relationships too so there could be huge shifts here internally or externally. If past lovers come back around, this could be a time to see those relationships more clearly.
Eclipses are beginning in your 6th and 12th houses, the health axis. You may experience some shifts in your health, work, or daily routine during the next 18 months because of this. Neptune and Saturn have entered your 8th house of shared resources, taxes, debts, and death. Something may be dissolving here as far as the way you share resources. With Saturn there, you may find yourself feeling less generous or you may find that you’re becoming more serious about paying off debts. Saturn rules your 5th house of children and creativity, so you might find that your relationship with your children undergoes some kind of change or that your creativity gets unleashed to otherworldly realms.
Libra
Both Saturn and Neptune are now in your 7th house of partnership, creating some illusion, some fantasy, and some inhibition in that area. You may oscillate between being overly romantic and then feeling like you’re being splashed with the cold water of reality. With Saturn there, you may feel that romantic partnerships seem to come to a halt, that you desire more commitment than you have before, or that you’re focused more on long term relationship stability rather than your usual short term frivolous fun. With the Saturn/Neptune conjunction, you might find that something in your relationships feels like it’s dissolving. Since Saturn also rules your 4th house of home and family, you might also find that something in this area of life might be up for reconstruction as well.
The Aquarius eclipse is happening in your 5th house of creativity and children, so you might experience some major changes here over the next 18 months. Perhaps you find yourself in a creative upswell or maybe your children go through big changes during this time.
Scorpio
The Aquarius eclipse this month is happening in your 4th house of home and family, kicking off some major changes here. You may feel inspired to move or change up your home in some way or your parents may go through some kind of sudden shift. The Leo full moon at the beginning of the month highlights your 10th house of career, asking you to shine your light when it comes to your purpose and life direction. Are you inhabiting your full light when it comes to your work? Saturn and Neptune are now in your 6th house of illness, work, and routine. Something in this area of life may dissolve or be ready to be reconstructed. Since Saturn rules your house of home and family, there’s an extra emphasis this month on long standing structures or beliefs regarding your home, family, or ancestry that is due for a reality check and big update.
Sagittarius
The moons this month are across your 3rd house/9th house axis, which is the axis of belief systems, foreign vs local travel, and education. The Leo full moon highlights matters of siblings and your local neighborhood while the Aquarius eclipse kicks off big changes to your belief systems, foreign travel, or higher education. Saturn is entering your 5th house of children and creativity, indicating some inhibition or blocks in this area, though Neptune may dissolve some of this. Since Saturn rules your 2nd house of money as well, you may find that the way you make or spend money could be up for reconstruction with this Saturn/Neptune conjunction.
Mercury retrograde in Pisces will happen in your 4th house of home and family, meaning that you might need to re-do or re-think some things in this area. If you’re signing any documents, make sure to double check things first. This may be a good time to reimagine your space or redecorate! Lean into the poetics and creativity you might be feeling during this time.
Capricorn
Saturn is entering your 4th house of home and family this month, indicating some inhibition or blocks in this area. Home life might begin to feel more serious or relationships with parents and family could feel strained. You may find yourself pushing against boundaries that weren’t there before. The Saturn/Neptune conjunction could indicate some kind of restructuring or dissolving when it comes to matters of the home, or matters of your identity, as Saturn rules YOU in the chart. You might find yourself questioning or shifting how you see yourself or you may find that you’re feeling particularly tired and drained during this time. Make sure to rest and drink plenty of water.
The Aquarius eclipse occurs in your 2nd house of personal assets and finances, kicking off 18 months of shifts when it comes to how you make or spend money. Whatever feels inhibiting about having to deal with money and belongings may be ready to dissolve.
Aquarius
The Solar Eclipse is happening in your house of self, identity, and body. This eclipse kicks off 18 months of possible changes to how you see yourself and your body. The Full Moon is happening in Leo in your 7th house of partnership, drawing extra attention to your romantic or business partners, and the eclipses will bounce back and forth between these two houses, bringing attention to how you relate to both yourself and others for the next 18 months. You may be in for some big shifts over the next year and a half as you prioritize yourself, your needs, and how you want to show up in this world.
Saturn, the planet of inhibitions and boundaries, has now entered your 3rd house of siblings, neighbors, close friends, and local travel, indicating that there could be some blocks here over the next few years. The Saturn/Neptune conjunction indicates dissolving of any blocks that don’t serve you though. Since Saturn represents YOU in the chart, you may be facing a shift in personal identity or body, and you may temporarily feel a bit drained or tired. Make sure to take care of yourself, get plenty of rest, and drink lots of water.
Pisces
With Saturn and Neptune now out of your first house of self, identity, and body, you may feel some relief as blocks to your wellbeing and fantasy thinking ease up a bit. With Saturn going into your 2nd house of finances, you may find yourself in declutter mode. You may also find some inhibition or blocks when it comes to making or spending money over the next few years, so it might be a good time to save. With Saturn ruling your 11th house of friendship, you may find that friendship structures you thought were strong can dissolve or loosen. Perhaps you allow even more people into your friendship circle, or perhaps friendships you thought were strong take a backseat or crumble completely.
The Aquarius eclipse is happening in your 12th house of mental health, retreat, and isolation, so you might find your relationship to being alone changes over the next 18 months. The eclipse axis will be your health and routine axis, so big changes to these topics might be on the horizon.
