Venus, the planet of love, beauty, connection, and pleasure, will join Jupiter, planet of luck, expansion, and wisdom at 25° Cancer this month. Venus/Jupiter aspects are lovely because they create a relationship between the two most benefic, or positive, planets. This creates opportunity for the sweet, pleasurable, and connective parts of life to expand and be felt more during this time. The Full Moon in Capricorn may highlight hidden or repressed feelings, or the ways in which we bypass our embodied experience of feeling in the name of staying real.

Saturn, the ruler of this Full Moon, is in its fall in Aries in the 4th place from the moon. This can highlight topics of family, home, parents, and lineage. Saturn in Aries has a hard time building and maintaining integrity, not in the moral sense but in the structural sense. Aries is a sign that wants to move fast and act before thinking while Saturn wants to slow things down and make sure all the pieces are in the right places. This feels like a breeding ground for tension and bottlenecked emotions, like the experience of holding it all in until we can’t take it anymore and all of our messy feelings explode out in front of us.

Mercury stations retrograde at 26° Cancer on June 30 and will be retrograde until July 23 when it stations direct at 16° Cancer. Mercury retrograde is all about reviewing, revisiting, and revising what’s come before, in particular anything from June 12 onward. Mercury goes retrograde when it’s as close to the earth as it gets, which brings forth matters that Mercury is responsible for: communication, technology, and travel. These things usually become glaring to us when things go wrong in these areas. You may find that you experience travel delays, scheduling issues, miscommunications, or issues with details and paperwork. It’s always a good idea during Mercury retrograde to plan for things to go mildly wrong, just incase. Try not to overbook yourself, have grace with yourself and others, and double check things like contracts, emails, and other important communications.

Mercury in Cancer communicates emotionally and with care. It focuses on memory, family, and nourishment, identifying lines of lineage and connecting the past to the present and future. Jupiter has been in Cancer since June 9, 2025 and will go into Leo on June 30, 2026 for the next year. Jupiter is exalted in Cancer, so this move into Leo is something of a downgrade for Jupiter.
